ALLIANCE GLOBAL GROUP donates One-Million worth of Disinfectants to PH Government

Since the outbreak of the Corona Virus, people all over the world have been so particular with personal hygiene and cleanliness in all terms. Aside from handwashing soap, toilet papers, sanitizers, we are also particular in bringing 70% Ethyl Alcohol inside our bag even at home or in the work environment. Since then, people are hoarding this stuff for protection and it's very sad! Here in the Philippines, commodities and cleaning items sell like hotcake and some poor people were not able to get enough resources for them.  Good news! Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI) is donating one-million liters of 70% disinfectant ethyl alcohol to help strengthen the government’s efforts in fighting the spread of COVID-19.

This 1 million worth of Ethyl Alcohol is composed of 850,000 liters of 96-percent ethyl alcohol which will be denatured in order to convert them into sanitizing and disinfectant alcohol, which can be used by hospitals, clinics, and government agencies that are tirelessly working to curb the spread of the coronavirus all over the country.

“Through the Department of Health, we hope to distribute disinfectant alcohol to as many, if not, all the hospitals and clinics that are treating COVID-19 patients all over the country. We need to protect our frontliners – the doctors, nurses, and other healthcare and medical personnel – whose lives are at risk in protecting and treating people from this virus,” says Kevin Andrew L. Tan, chief executive officer, AGI.

Aside from hospitals and other medical institutions, this huge volume of disinfectant alcohol will also be donated to other front liners such as the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), as well as marshalls from various Local Government Units (LGUs) who are also exposed because of their work in enforcing the government’s Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon.

“We are one with the nation in this fight to heal our country from COVID-19. We salute all the frontliners who are our real heroes during this challenging time. We join the nation in prayer and unity as we hope to rise together from this crisis as one Philippines,” adds Tan.
