She is a part-time teacher at St. Theresa’s College, teaching major Mass Communication courses, such as news and feature writing, investigative journalism and newspaper editing and layout.

Within the past 10 years, she won several awards like Best in News Writing in the Cebu Archdiocesan Mass Media Awards in 2009 and Blogger of the Year in the Globe Cebu Media Excellence Awards in 2012 and 2013, among others.

A volunteer at heart, she goes to public and private schools, teaching young people on the basics of news and feature writing, blogging and social media. Her latest talk was a sharing of online tools for small and medium enterprises for the WINNERS candidates of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry where she is a member.

Apart from the Chamber, she is also former vice-president for Cebu Bloggers Society, former secretary for Cebu Association of Communication Educators and co-organizer of Cebu Book Club. She is in constant search for learning and business opportunities.
