This marked the 17th edition of the award ceremony, which has become one of the most anticipated offline events for online personalities in Cebu. The 17th Best Cebu Blogs Awards Night started with a warm welcome from its founder, Mark M. Monta. "Seventeen years ago, we launched this awards program with a vision: to recognize, uplift, and inspire Cebu’s digital content creators who have made such a significant impact on shaping our online landscape. From the very first edition, our goal was to create a platform where local bloggers' voices could be heard, appreciated, and celebrated—and today, it’s amazing to see how far we've come," said Mark during his opening speech.

Next up was a short yet inspiring message from Cebu’s original bloggers and creators, Leylan Romarate, who also serves as the vice president of the Cebu Bloggers Society, the leading blogging and content creation organization in Cebu. Afterward, all the finalists, VIPs, and guests were treated to a delicious spread prepared by Oakridge Horizon Café in the buffet area. As they dined, the attendees enjoyed a serenade by Jan-Jan Repeso, a former performer and musician from the famous Princess Cruises. Then a special speech from our Co-Presenter, Ms. Pia Jean Velasquez-Seno, Marketing Director, Oakridge and Closing Remarks was delivered by the Cebu Bloggers Society President, Janine Ella Anongos.
