The 12^th Best Cebu Blogs Awards (BCBA) is up!

For the 12^th year, the Best Cebu Blogs Awards has been recognizing Cebu’s Best Bloggers and their finest blogs. On October 1, 2019, BCBA is excited to inform everyone that the nomination is officially open for this annual blogging contest. Anyone can nominate their favorite Cebu-based blogs and all Cebu-based Bloggers who are living on the island for at least six months are encouraged to nominate their blog sites too.

Best Cebu Blogs by Niche Awards

1.      1. Cebu-based Bloggers can nominate themselves or other Cebu-based bloggers by filling-up the nomination page via this link:  CLICK HERE

2.      2. Nomination starts on October 1, 2019 to October 21, 2019. Blog must be updated constantly (latest article must be posted at least 3-5 months and active in his social media channels) Last year’s Niche Winners won’t be allowed to be nominated this year to any of the categories. He or she can come back to the nominee’s list by next year.

3.      3. On October 25, 2019 (5:00PM) nominees will be shortlisted to at least 3 bases on the category defined which is initially be judged by BCB2019 Committees.

4.      4. On October 28, 2019 to November 8, 2019, these finalists will be judged according to the criteria specified below. Note, organizers are not the judges. See Judges tab for details.

Niches are defined in the following:

Best Cebu Technology Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog that features relevant technology information and updates. 

Best Cebu Personal Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog that has multiple categories or features personal opinions. 

Best Cebu Travel Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog which features places, travel experiences and anything related to travelling. 

Best Cebu Food Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog which main topic is about food. 

Best Cebu Style Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog which focuses mainly on fashion and lifestyle. 

Best Cebu Photo Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog which focuses mainly on photo blogging. 

Best Cebu Events Blog – BCBA is looking for this year’s best blog which focuses mainly on entertainment and events.

5.       5. The Top 3 Nominees in each niche are required to make a Pre-Event post of the Best Cebu Blogs of 2019 Awarding Ceremony which contains requirements to be sent through email.

6.      6. Judging for the Best Cebu Blogs by Niche is based on the Criteria for Judging detailed in below post.

·       Judges' decisions are irrevocable and final.

·      Winners will be announced through email, Best Cebu Blogs of 2019 Fan Page post and through a special blog post in this site on December 1, 2019.

- free from spelling issues (we need not to include grammar, for as we know most blogs are written freely)

2. User Friendliness - 20%

- Blog navigation easy to use by visitors
- Site should be readable
- design and layout

3. Authority - 20%
