Currently, he is the president of the Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS), the premier blogging organization in the Visayas. He joined CBS in August 2008 and has since been active in helping steer the group’s direction as its website development head, events manager, and most recently, corporate communications manager.
Sinjin started blogging in 2007 at the now defunct sinjin.ph. The personal blog, which contained random musings and basically anything the writer could think about, became the recipient of the top recognition at the first ever Best Cebu Blogs Awards.
The following year, another blog of his, CebuDaily.com (which is also now defunct), received the top recognition at the second Best Cebu Blogs Awards.
In June 2010, Sinjin pursued his real passion, which is to explore the whole Philippines and share his experiences online, thus Libotero was born. In 2013, Libotero was recognized at the “best tourism experience” category at Singapore Tourism Board’s Singapore Experience Awards .
